Checking out Dairy Queen for #EqualCanada #CBias

Did you know Canada.. you may have saw on Twitter earlier today that we took our boys bowling today for the very first time. It was SO MUCH FUN! Seriously, if you haven't been bowling lately, GO! They boys had a great time, everyone had fun and a good laugh at our lack of bowling skills, it was a fun morning out.

After bowling and playing a couple racing games we headed to the Dairy Queen attached to the bowling alley for some lunch. This is a full menu Dairy Queen with not only frozen treats but also burgers, hot dogs, fries and more. The boys had shakes and one had a hot dog and one had a burger - everything was very yummy - good prices too!

I also needed a coffee as it was only 11am and I just REALLY needed my morning coffee. :-) Quick Tip: take little ones to a bowling alley EARLY, by 10:45 when all the birthday parties were started the boys were so distracted by all the action, but did fantastic when we were one of the only ones there. So, back to my coffee, I was surprised to see Equal Sweeteners was not an option, mentioned it to the (young) girl behind the counter but she didn't have much info to offer, just that what they had was what they had and there was no one else available to talk to. I visited their website and am sending in a comment about my visit and lack of choices, will let you know if I hear back.

You can see from their little area that there wasn't much choice or availability, yet including my own coffee I saw, honestly, 5 other people come in and order coffees. A couple were staff of the bowling alley and the rest were seniors that I believe were part of a bowling league. So coffee must be a hot commodity around there, why don't they have more choices?
