Did you know Canada.. it's time for Holiday movies in our house, we LOVE to watch them. Frosty, Rudolph and the Grinch are always favourites, but what we really enjoy are some of the newer movies that involve current technology and terms, these are more familiar to the boys.
A new one we've been watching the past few days is the Prep & Landing Totally Tinsel Collection from Disney. The collection includes two features: Prep & Landing and Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice. Both super cute and really fun, we also love the bonus features included in the DVD - especially the shorts.
Prep & Landing is an elite unit of high-tech elves that make sure homes are prepared for Santa's visit. Two of these elves are Lanny and Wayne, run into a few challenges during the big night. :-) Wayne had been up for a promotion (Director of the Naughty List) which he did not get and he's a little bitter about it. Then with a snow storm on the big night, there's some great moments and some great lessons in caring and friendship as well.
In Naughty vs. Nice Lanny and Wayne need to recover classified North Pole tech (a fruit-cake radio) from a computer-hacker "naughty" kid, it's really cute and funny. You get a great introduction to the coal elves, those that deposit coal into the stockings of the naughty kids.
I love that the topics are current, my boys think all the elf technology is really cool (especially the sled cars and candy cane grappling hooks) and they then create their own imaginative stories later after watching these movies. I love that the menu is very easy to use too, even my non-reading boys can get the movies going, which I really appreciate it. :-)
Full of Holiday Fun, I really recommend this collection for every family to enjoy, trust me, it's fun for Mom and Dad too! Something to enjoy while the build of Christmas starts.
We have some exciting news for our readers as well, enter below for your chance to win one of FOUR copies of Prep & Landing Totally Tinsel Collection!!! Good luck Canada!!
