Did you know Canada.. Gillian May Berthelot received her angel wings at the age of 8. Gillian passed away in June of 2010 after battling a rare cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. Gillian battled this disease for 13 months with a contagious smile, a brave spirit and zest for life.
The Gillie Beans FUNd is a volunteer based tribute fund that raises money for research into Rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer that affects mostly children. All money raised goes into research at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario through the SickKids Foundation. In 2011, The Gillie Beans FUNd raised over $30,000 for Rhabdoymosarcoma research!
The Second Annual Gillie Beans FUN DAY is Saturday May 26th, 2012 - 11-3 pm at John Dryden Public School, Whitby, Ontario.
